Following the results of the Brexit referendum in the UK and the unprecedented election of Donald Trump as the 45th US President we are now seeing the identity of the true rulers of the World, for whom things are not going too well at the moment. Trump’s election is unprecedented because in reality he is an independent, neither a Democrat nor an establishment Republican, somewhat similar to Ronald Reagan.
Several names are assigned to these true rulers – the global elite, the establishment, the deep state, the shadow government, the Illuminati, the 1%, the Oligarchy, the aristocracy and others, but these names are not totally interchangeable, as we will explain.. In their opposition to Donald Trump they are exposing who they are, and their structure.
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized.
Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. …In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons…who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.” –
Edward Bernays – Propaganda
For Decades we have been aware of the public face, supra-national organisations such as the UN, EU, G7, G20, Central Banks, IMF, World Bank, OECD and many others including think tanks such as the Brooking’s Institute, Aspen Institute, Tavistock Insitute, Fabian Society, Davos and thousands more. Also on the public side we have the governments of the world and their various departments and also the large global corporations and their “celebrity” CEO’s. We also have the Mainstream Media (MSM), the entertainments industry (Hollywood etc), the music industry and the sports industry with its hero’s and icons.
There are other more “secretive” organisations we know of such as Bilderberg, Club of Rome, Freemasons, BIS, CFR, Chatham House, Yale University ‘Skull and Bones’, Bohemian Grove, Bullington Club and many others. We can’t be sure what happens at most of these organisations as the participants are sworn to secrecy and never reveal what happens or what is revealed or said.
The picture below attempts to show the hierarchy of today compared to our feudal past, but we would question those at the very top of the pyramid (the .00001%) on the right. The Central Bankers may control the wealth of the nations, but they are not the owners of the greatest wealth. In the developed world those with the most money wield the most power, the multi billionaires such as Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerburg, Warren Buffet, the Koch Brothers, the Rockefeller and Rothschild families and many others. These people can buy influence at the highest level – but probably can’t buy Trump. These people would represent the global elite, the establishment or the Oligarchy. Being a mere billionaire does not get you into this club, the likes of the Bush and Clinton families are just not wealthy enough. Clearly some of these people are perfectly benign, some even genuinely benevolent, though a cynic might suggest this is to avoid tax through charitable foundations. Some are downright malevolent, nasty and maybe as some suggest just pure evil. A common trait among these ultra wealthy, and which may be a useful trait to achieve those lofty heights can at best be described as sociopathic, at worst psychopathic. Many of these people seem to genuinely lack empathy with the suffering of others, sometimes as a direct or indirect result of their wealth funded machinations. One person definitely in this latter group is George Soros, who appears to be using his billions to be influencing geopolitics across the globe, from the so-called colour revolutions, to the pro-EU movement, the Open Society Foundation, and the anti-Trump and anti-Russia movements in the US.
The most wealthy wish to increase and keep their wealth and they can buy almost anyone they need to make policies and laws to achieve that, although it is unlikely they use their influence directly. Most politicians (in the US) are bought via campaign donations which require millions of dollars to achieve positions in Congress. Those campaign donations come with a cost attached, when required they will be expected to either support or oppose certain legislation. It is frankly ridiculous that this situation is allowed to exist, anyone with half a brain must see this would be open to abuse, but a US Supreme Court decision actually allowed no limit to be imposed on campaign donations.
The driving forces emanating from the input of vast amounts of money to the “right” people are cultural Marxism, social engineering, collectivism, multiculturalism. globalism and an assortment of other isms including feminism, environmentalism, along with diversity, equality, identity politics, virtue signalling and social justice.
Generally the “right” people are selected from those attending the “right” school and university, but that is only for the more important roles – the politicians, the captains of industry, the senior bureaucrats and other leadership roles. These people operate in the visible overt government, as well as the covert Deep State, otherwise known as the Shadow Government. Over the last 50 or so years, following the failure of national and international socialism, the cultural Marxists have progressed with their “March through the Institutions”, occupying senior positions in academia, local and national government, judiciary, police departments, intelligence services (CIA, NSA, MI-5. MI-6, etc), NGO’s, Think Tanks, government departments, trade unions, mainstream media, entertainment industry, music industry and elsewhere, and purging those not of their collectivist mindset, mainly through the use of social engineering techniques, such as political correctness, identity politics, diversity, equality and social justice.
An important point to make about the Deep State is that many occupying positions in the organisations are unelected, but acting as government, and often funded by government, or more correctly taxpayers, this is sometimes referred to as the third way. In the UK we have a large number of QANGOs (Quasi Autonomous Non-Government Organisations), which have replaced the former functions of many government departments, but are unelected, opaque, unaccountable and have vast taxpayer funded budgets.
Donald Trump may have been elected as the 45th President of the United States, but he is clearly being opposed by many elements of the Deep State, in the intelligence services with their persistent but unproven accusations against Russian election meddling, the MSM constantly portraying him as a racist, sexist, homophobic bigot. Members of the judiciary using spurious challenges to his totally sensible immigration controls and dumb-ass celebrities and musicians using every opportunity to attack him and his policies. State governors refusing to assist on the removal of illegal immigrants, insisting they maintain their Sanctuary City, County or State status.
These people have been entrenched in their positions for decades and they are following a collectivist agenda, to them it is irrelevant that Trump was legitimately elected through the correct process (electoral college) and is very much their President, whether they like it or not. What we are witnessing in the halls of power everywhere is a leftist, collectivist insurrection to support the Status Quo they wish to see in place, not what the people voted for and want. It is truly bizarre that those who should be most opposed to the elites, the 1% or above, are the most vociferously opposed to the so-called “populist” movement opposed to globalism, hegemonic wars, wealth inequality and global governance.
